MUSC Health is seeking a Registered Nurse II to provide individualized patient care in a 23-hour observation unit. This position requires extensive interaction with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and flexibility to cover dayshift during low census.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent and have at least one year of nursing experience. Lifesaving certification is also required. This is a full-time night shift role, offering a structured schedule with no weekend or holiday duties.
Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II provides overnight individualized, goal‑directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results. This position covers a 23‑hour observation unit and will flex to dayshift during times of low census.
36 scheduled weekly hours. Nights (Monday‑Thursday) 6 p.m. – 6:30 a.m. shift, 3‑12 hour shifts. No weekends, major holidays or call.
