General Summary

A clinically competent nurse utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care on an assigned unit. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing and updating care plans, implementing evidence-based interventions, providing health education, ensuring a safe environment, evaluating care effectiveness, maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards, and participating in professional development and team collaboration.

Work Orientation & Experience

• Orientation tailored to experience level; all new RNs complete Maryland Department of Health training and six hours of additional education.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school, Bachelors preferred.
• Current RN license in Maryland.
• BCLS certification required.

Compensation:

• Base pay: $40/hr plus pay differentials
• Shift differentials applicable
