Job Description

• Understand and follow policies and protocols; assist others in resource use. Address patient needs related to quality measures, National Patient Safety Goals, and patient education.
• Serve as charge nurse and/or preceptor; collaborate with supervisors to resolve unit issues.
• Perform assessments and reassessments as needed, collecting data to formulate nursing diagnoses.
• Develop and document individualized Plans of Care with mutual, realistic, and measurable goals based on patient assessments.
• Coordinate resources and personnel to develop and implement the Plan of Care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse; preferred completion of Preceptor and/or Charge Nurse program. Completion of 30 contact hours, including 12 annual Nursing Spectrum articles.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of employment for ICU/IMC, PACU, Interventional Radiology, GI Lab, ED departments.
• PALS certification within 1 year for PACU and Emergency Department.
• BLS certification required.

Compensation:
Pay Range: $34.5-$53.55
