Job summary

The Dept Behavioral Health/Develop is seeking a Registered Nurse II for Eastern State Hospital in Virginia. This part-time / PRN role provides nursing care to adult and geriatric psychiatric patients using the nursing process, aligned with hospital policy and professional standards.

Responsibilities include evaluating and supervising staff, documenting care, and guiding performance to maintain high-quality psychiatric nursing services.

Qualifications

• RN licensure or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Previous nursing experience.
• Psychiatry and/or geriatric related experience.

Job Duties

Utilizes knowledge base and experience, provide quality nursing care to adult and geriatric psychiatric patients through the nursing process in accordance with hospital policy and procedure and standards of nursing practice. Evaluates, supervises, documents and provides guidance in performance of staff.

Minimum Qualifications

• Registered nursing licensure or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Previous experience in nursing.
