Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse II for the Medicine III Unit at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, TX. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team, following established nursing models to ensure positive clinical outcomes.

Qualifications include RN licensure, a Bachelor’s or Associate degree (or RN Diploma), and 6 months of acute care experience. BLS is required within 30 days of start.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• RN license

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and shifts, report changes.
• Administer medications, monitor response, document in medical record.
• Provide prompt, compassionate patient care and respond to requests.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, meds and follow-up.
