Job summary

Harris Health seeks a Nurse Clinician II (NCII) to independently manage patients in the assigned clinical area, applying standards and protocols to everyday cases. You will collaborate with the care team, recognizing when to seek resources and escalate as needed.

Required is an RN license in Texas with BLS, and a BSN preferred or an accredited nursing diploma. Bilingual ability is a plus, and weekend/on-call availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Diploma in Nursing; graduate from an accredited school.
• Registered Nurse licensed in Texas.
• Basic Life Support from AHA or Red Cross.
• One year RN experience or GN program.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently and safely manages patients in assigned area.
• Applies standards and algorithms per nursing acts and protocols.
• Recognizes when additional resources are needed and solicits them.
• Delivers competent, compassionate nursing care to patients.
