Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks an RN II to deliver individualized, goal-directed patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, effective care and patient satisfaction while adhering to nursing process standards.

Minimum education is an Associate’s Degree in Nursing with SC Board licensure (or compact state). BLS, PALS, and ACLS are required. Shifts include 36 hours per week with three 12-hour shifts and every other weekend.

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• RN licensure by SC Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications are required.

Scheduled Work Hours/Shift: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, every other weekend.

Minimum Training and Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
