Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse I for the Emergency Department. Under supervision, you will provide individualized patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with the health care team, and ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Minimum eligibility includes an Associate degree in nursing and SC RN licensure (or compact). BLS is required; PALS and ACLS are also required. A sign-on bonus may be available for qualified new hires.

Minimum Training and Education

Associate degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations

Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
