Eckerd Connects in Washington, DC is seeking a Registered Nurse II to supervise the day-to-day wellness clinic and nursing staff in a youth program. This exempt, salaried role supports staffing, on-call rotation, and medical care for students, with a DC license required and background check.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse II reports to the Health and Wellness Manager (RN) and is a salaried exempt position.
• The Registered Nurse II supervises the day-to-day wellness clinic as well as the nursing staff.
• Works with the Health and Wellness Manager to ensure proper staffing of the wellness clinic.
• Share on-call responsibilities with the Health & Wellness Manager.
• The Registered Nurse II assists in the medical care and treatment of students; takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rates, dresses wounds and assists with student physicals.
• Administers specified medication and annotates time and amount on patients chart; maintains charts for trainees seen by medical personnel.
• Assembles, sterilizes and uses various medical equipment and supplies.

Annual Salary: $96,000 - $100,000

Duties and Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse II reports the Health and Wellness Manager (RN) and is a salaried exempt position.
• The Registered Nurse II supervises the day-to-day wellness clinic as well as the nursing staff.

Qualifications

• State Registered Nurses License and one years experience as a practicing Registered Nurse.
• Active, unrestricted license to practice in Washington D.C.
• Prefer two or more years of experience; valid drivers license with acceptable driving record preferred.
• Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.
