Job Title: Registered Nurse II
Job Duration: 1-2 Months (possibility of extension)
Payrate: $35.97/ hr on w2
Duties and Responsibilities:

• No direct patient care.
• This is a virtual position.
• Responsible for clinical criteria prior authorization setup, which involves creating prior authorization requests based on client clinical policies for prescribers.
• This includes formulating questions such as patient age, previous medication trials, etc.
• Creating questions and answers to facilitate approval or denial decisions.
• Creating and coding denial rationales for prescribers and patients.
• Training on a proprietary web-based platform used for this coding.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, are required.
• Providing configuration support for pharmacy and medical criteria, requiring creative problem-solving.
• Offering consultative support to internal partners on system setup and requirements.
• Effective communication skills are highly desired.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree minimum.

Certifications & Licenses:

• RN license in good standing as per state requirements.
