LiveWell Homecare Agency in Missouri is seeking compassionate registered nurses for a 42-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). You will provide direct patient care, perform assessments, and help develop care plans within nursing standards.

Education on illness management, post‑treatment care, and medication administration will be part of your duties, as will promoting patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or ADN required; BSN and CCRN preferred.
• RN license required; ICU experience preferred for higher responsibilities.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred.
• Additional certifications and licensure as per role requirements.

Role Overview:

We are hiring compassionate registered nurses for a 42-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU).

Responsibilities include:

• Providing direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
• Promoting patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participating in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, as well as engaging in professional development.
• Developing and documenting individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team, patients, and families.
• Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
• Ensuring safety and alertness as this is a safety-sensitive role.

Qualifications:

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing (BSN and CCRN preferred).
• RN license required; no prior experience necessary, but ICU experience is preferred for higher responsibilities.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred.
• Additional certifications and licensure as per role requirements.
