Job summary

American-Advanced-Management,-Inc. is seeking an experienced ICU/ Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise the planning and provision of care for critically ill patients.

The role involves directing care by licensed nurses and staff, educating patients and families, and documenting care efficiently. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, active RN license, 2–3 years of acute care experience, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must hold a current state license and must maintain license renewal.
• Minimum 2–3 years acute care experience required.
• Critical Care experience preferred.
• Completion of a critical care course within 3 months of hire.
• Read, write, and speak English; must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is expected.
• BLS and ACLS Certification required.
• Specialty Certification recognized.

POSITION SUMMARY: The ICU / CRITICAL CARE Registered Nurse (RN) performs those activities for which the RN has been prepared through education, training, and experience. The RN provides nursing supervision in the planning for and provision of nursing care to critically ill patients and directs and evaluates care given by other licensed nurses and personnel. The RN provides education, assesses needs, plans for, implements, evaluates and documents care being provided by nursing staff to each patient. The Critical Care RN is responsible both for nursing care directly provided by that nurse and the care provided by others under her/his supervision.QUALIFICATIONS:Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.Must hold a current state license and must maintain license renewal in accordance with the standards of the State Board of Nursing.Minimum 2 - 3 years acute care experience required.Critical Care experience is preferred.Successful completion of a critical care course within 3 months of hire.Must be able to read, write, and speak English, as well as possess good verbal and written communication skills.Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)BLS and ACLS Certification requiredSpecialty Certification recognizedPICC Line Insertion Certification recognized
