Position: Registered Nurse - Advanced Skills / ICU RN

Summary: Provide quality care to critically ill patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Act as a patient advocate, supervise care provided by others, develop and update nursing care plans, and ensure patient education and discharge planning.

• Maintain nursing standards and hospital policies.
• Assess patients on admission; coordinate referrals.
• Develop and update nursing care plans.
• Handle restraints and ensure proper patient positioning.
• Document assessments, care plans, and pertinent information accurately.
• Use biomedical equipment correctly.
• Deliver safe and effective patient care, complete assignments timely, and demonstrate teamwork.
• Obtain consents and ensure informed decisions.
• Accurately transcribe and follow physician's orders.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition and institute emergency protocols.
• Administer medications following ICU policies and procedures.
• Recognize arrhythmias and institute protocols.
• Supervise and evaluate nursing care.
• Assist with procedures and tests.
• Participate in supply management and equipment maintenance.
• Contribute to orientation and performance evaluations.
• Assist team members and coordinate care during therapies or procedures.
• React to adverse developments with emergency measures.

Qualifications:
