Job summary

Cayuga Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, practicing to the full scope of your license and contributing to high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, and collaboration with colleagues to improve patient outcomes. Onsite position, part-time nights, two 12-hour shifts per week, including weekends and holidays as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing.
• Active New York State RN license.
• BLS, ACLS & PALS to be obtained during introductory period.

Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Registered Nurses at Centralus are key members of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to the Tompkins County community. Practicing to the full scope of their license, RNs actively contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services, collaborating with colleagues in a shared governance environment to improve patient outcomes and deliver optimal patient-centered care

Physical Requirements

• Repetitive use of hands and fingers (e.g., use of computer keyboard); may require lifting and carrying light loads (up to 40 lbs), including boxes, equipment, IV solutions and stooping and kneeling (e.g., to pick up items from the floor, to remove and replace items on lower shelves and to file documents in lower file drawers); sitting, walking, or standing for long periods of time may be necessary; must be able physically to operate the equipment used for the job.

Pay Range Disclosure

• Standard Rate of $39.63 - $48.18 per hour plus benefits
