Job summary

AdventHealth in Sebring, FL seeks an experienced ICU/CVICU RN to join its care team. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, monitor responses, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Candidates must have an Associate's Degree in Nursing and licensure as RN, with BLS and EKG knowledge preferred. This is a full-time, night-shift position with benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing (RN) required.
• Florida RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in critical care preferred.

Job Description

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.

Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

Document patient care activities, including assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes, accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to infection control policies and safety protocols.

Respond promptly to life-threatening situations using established protocols and critical care skills.
