Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a Float Pool RN to support night shifts in a busy hospital setting. You will collaborate with care teams to ensure timely patient placement and quality nursing care.

The role requires RN licensure, ADN/BSN, 1+ year recent experience, and certifications (BLS/ACLS/NIHSS). You will engage in plan-of-care development, data collection for process improvement, and uphold safety and cost considerations.

Qualifications

• RN license and nursing degree requirements are stated.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for Nursing personnel.
• Certifications BLS/ACLS/NIHSS are required.
• Must demonstrate clinical nursing skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates and promotes timely patient placement by following hospital policy for patient admission, discharge, and transfer.
• Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health/situation and unit-specific data for process improvement initiatives.
• Develops, individualizes, and prioritizes the patient’s plan of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and health team members.
• Implements identified plans for patients and unit-specific process improvement with appropriate nursing interventions and physician orders in an accurate, timely manner.
• Considers factors related to safety, effectiveness, cost, and impact on practice in the delivery of nursing services.
• Participates in peer interviewing and peer review processes.

Job Description:

Education

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]

Pay Range: $32.76 - $57.47
