Indiana University Health is seeking registered nurses to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN. Multiple shifts (days and nights) are available with a $30,000 sign-on bonus for part- and full-time roles and relocation incentives.

As a bedside RN, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes and maintain high standards of care in a leading health system.

Qualifications

• ASN is required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC.
• BLS certification required; other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit.
• Two years of acute care experience may be considered in lieu of formal education when approved by CNO.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team to advance patient plan and outcomes.

The registered professional clinical nurse (RN) is accountable and responsible for the provision and coordination of competent, evidence-based care along the care continuum, which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The clinical nurse participates in decision‑making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care, achieve outcomes and enhance operational efficiency. The nurse adheres to the ANA Scope and Standards of Professional Nursing and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements.

Qualifications:

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Education: The Registered Nurse (RN) must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
