This position holds the authority, responsibility, and shift accountability for delivering nursing care through the nursing process. The incumbent is accountable, applies competent clinical knowledge and skills, and uses independent nursing judgment to achieve quality patient outcomes. Duties are within the scope of a Registered Nurse (RN) - Level I, as defined in the job description.
Responsibilities include modifying patient care plans, using evidence-based practices, delegating appropriately, verifying care plans with team and patients, providing education, promoting effective communication, influencing policy, utilizing resources, participating in quality improvement, and engaging in professional development.

For OB Nursing, required are 1 year of OB experience, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM certifications.
