Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel contract in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The RN will provide high-quality critical care to cardiac patients in a fast-paced ICU environment and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of ICU experience and holds Oklahoma or Compact RN license, BLS, and ACLS. Night shift, no call, and 36 hours per week. Travel/contract assignment with onsite facility.

Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact RN License.
• Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience.
• Current AHA BLS Certification.
• Current ACLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients.
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and monitor hemodynamic status.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products as ordered.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to acute changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The RN will provide high-quality critical care to patients with complex cardiac conditions in a fast-paced intensive care environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of ICU experience, strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Previous Cardiac ICU (CICU) experience is highly preferred.
