Job summary

Black Women’s Mental Health Institute is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse to join our Kentucky team. The RN in ICU provides high-quality, patient-centered care following established standards and collaborates with medical teams.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient status, educating patients and families, coordinating holistic treatment plans with multidisciplinary teams, and participating in quality improvements to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN licensure is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 90 days of joining the team.
• Strong communication skills and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications & Skills

• RN licensure and certifications including Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS within 6 months).

• Strong communication skills, compassion, and ability to translate medical information for patients.
