The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using evidence-based practices and technology.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans, delegate and coordinate care effectively, and evaluate patient responses to interventions. Promote professionalism by adhering to legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Current RN license in the practice state, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and either a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or willingness to obtain one within four years. Skills include patient care, communication, critical thinking, documentation, and teamwork.
Ability to see, hear, communicate effectively, manipulate equipment precisely, lift and transfer patients, and navigate busy environments.
