Job summary

Ascension Health is hiring for an ICU nurse in Franklin, WI. You will lead compassionate, evidence-based care in a night shift environment and collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and clinical excellence. Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire or transfer date.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing before hire date or with multi-state/Compact State eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of compassionate nursing care aligned with safety standards.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to care team for timely interventions.
• Coordinate care between physicians, specialists and support staff for unified treatment.
• Lead discharge planning to ensure patients and families have resources for recovery at home.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi‑state/Compact State.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
