Float Nurse Position - Medical/Surgical Unit

Shift and Coverage

• Weekend Coverage: Every Other Weekend (EOW)
• Local Candidates: Not accepted; must be located more than 75 miles away

Experience and Requirements

• Years of Experience Required: 2
• Patient Ratio Experience: 1:3
• First-Time Travelers: Not accepted, but may be considered based on profile

Patient Population and Diagnoses

The patient population ranges from young adults to elderly individuals. Common conditions include ventilated patients, titratable drips, and substance abuse withdrawal. Typical diagnoses involve cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and gastrointestinal diseases, as well as post-operative care.
