Job summary

Registered Nurse - ICU/PCU

Position Details

Guaranteed contract hours: 72 hours biweekly for all assignments - guaranteed hours do not include any on-call time worked.

Shift

12-hour night shifts with every other weekend scheduled.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required.
• Experience: 2-5 years of ICU experience required.
• Preferred experience at a Level I Trauma center; candidates with Level II Trauma experience may also be considered.
• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records is required.
• Ability to float between ICU and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed.
• Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state required.
• A telehealth competency test will be administered on the first day; it is pass/fail. Failure may result in termination of the assignment.
• Local candidates will not be considered.
• Candidates must have been separated from the healthcare system for at least six months to be eligible, including permanent, per diem, or travel roles.
