Job summary

Advocate Health's ICU at Atrium Health Cabarrus seeks an experienced RN for 12-hour night shifts in a 40-bed unit. This full-time role (36 hours/week) includes on-call time and a collaborative, high-acuity environment focused on safe, high-quality patient care.

You’ll participate in rounds and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes. Ideal candidates have an accredited nursing program, a valid NC RN license, BLS certification, and at least 6 months of nursing experience

Schedule Details/Additional Information

Full-time night shift - 36 hours per week. Includes 18 hours of call per 6-week schedule. However, there are alternatives to call hours. Expectation of 2 Friday's and any combination of 4 Saturday and/or Sunday shifts per 6-week schedule. We do have a weekend call out make up process. Unit offers self-scheduling.

Pay Range

$38.20 - $57.30

Are you ready to make a difference in critical care? Our 40 bed Intensive Care Unit at Atrium Health Cabarrus offers a collaborative and supportive environment. Our ICU team manages complex medical-surgical cases, including ventilated patients, stroke patients, trauma cases, and more—all within a typical 2:1 nurse-to-patient assignment to ensure safe, quality care. You’ll work 12-hour shifts alongside an interdisciplinary team that includes providers, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, case managers, and more—collaborating daily during rounds to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. We’re Looking For
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Candidate must have at least 6 months of nursing expereince. This position is not for new grads

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
