Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse I for our West-Medical Surgical 34-bed unit in Tulsa, OK. This full-time role includes a 10-12 week orientation and participation in ongoing staff education.

Nurses are expected to apply nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care per unit policies and procedures. The ideal candidate holds a nursing diploma or degree and a valid Oklahoma RN license, with 0–6 months of related experience.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the nursing program and hold or be entitled to hold a diploma/degree in nursing.
• Valid RN license (Oklahoma or multi-state) required.
• 0–6 months related experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to care for patients.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care per unit standards.
• Document steps of the nursing process accurately and timely.
• Support discharge planning with appropriate referrals and patient education.
