Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse I to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process in line with hospital standards and unit policies. The role is full-time days with 7a–7p shifts and weekend rotation, located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Minimum education is a state-approved nursing program diploma or degree. Multistate or Oklahoma RN license required. Experience 0–6 months; weekend differential applies for premium weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Must have completed basic professional curricula of a nursing program as approved and verified by a state board.
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to care for patients.
• Assess, organize, and complete patient care with consideration for age and cultural factors.
• Document steps of the nursing process accurately.
• Use proper medical terminology in all communications.
• Facilitate discharge through referrals and patient education as appropriate.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to meet unit and hospital goals.
• Participate in PI activities and complete required education.
