Job summary

Mercy Hospital Springfield - Wound Care Clinic seeks a dedicated RN to join our wound care team. You will provide patient-centered nursing care, follow the nursing process, and collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues to coordinate treatment plans.

This full-time role requires graduation from an accredited RN program and an active RN license; Hyperbaric Chamber Operator certification within 60 days is required. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Days

Overview:

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Licensure/Certification(s):

• Within 60 days you will be required to have a Hyperbaric Chamber Operator certificate.

This position will float within department when needed.
