Registered Nurse – Hospice - Remote (Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm MST)

CareXM is seeking a remote Registered Nurse (RN) to provide after-hours telephone triage care to patients and caregivers of hospice and home health partners. This position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work from home while making a meaningful difference.

Job Details

• Schedule: Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm MST
• Training: Four weeks, with scheduled meetings during the first three weeks and work assignments in the fourth week
• Pay: $26/hour
• Location: Remote (excluding certain states listed in the description)

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate after-hours RN telephone triage care
• Assess patient needs and provide appropriate instructions
• Communicate empathetically with callers
• Coordinate care with healthcare team members
• Document patient interactions in the EHR system

Qualifications

• RN license in a compact state (in good standing)
• Minimum 4 years of clinical nursing experience; experience in home health, palliative, med-surg, geriatrics, ICU, ER, or hospice preferred
• Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency a plus
• Proficiency with computers and telecommunications equipment
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Pass background check and drug test
• Meet California RN prerequisites (see link in original description)
