Job summary

BrightStar Care of North Miami & Miami Beach is seeking a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse to provide expert end-of-life care in the Miami/North Miami area. You will monitor patient conditions, deliver medications and treatments, and support families with empathy and professional guidance.

This full- or part-time position offers flexible scheduling, competitive hourly pay, weekly payroll, and opportunities to work in home health or facility settings while receiving PPE and mileage

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license.
• AHCA Level 2 fingerprinting clearance.
• Physical examination completed within the past six months.
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest X-ray.
• Minimum of one year documented experience in a home health agency, primary care clinic, or health facility.
• Previous hospice experience preferred (we will train).
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance.
• Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient conditions and assess needs to deliver optimal care and advice.
• Perform routine procedures (e.g., blood pressure checks, administering injections) and maintain patient records.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Provide immediate medical care in emergencies.
• Create a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families.

BrightStar Care is looking to add Registered Nurses to our team to work as hospice nurses in the Miami/North Miami areas!

This position may require driving to a variety of locations within an approximate 25 mile radius centered around Hialeah.
