BrightStar Care of North Miami & Miami Beach is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to join our hospice team serving the Miami/North Miami area. You will support patients and families with high-quality hospice care and benefit from flexible scheduling and a supportive work environment.

The role involves driving within a 25-mile radius of Hialeah, delivering essential nursing care, and coordinating with families and physicians.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license is required.
• AHCA Level 2 fingerprinting clearance required.
• CPR certification and negative TB skin test or chest X-ray required.
• Minimum of one year experience in home health, primary care clinic, or health facility.
• Hospice experience preferred (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient conditions and assess needs to deliver optimal care.
• Perform routine procedures (e.g., checking blood pressure, injections) and maintain records.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physician.
• Provide immediate medical care in emergencies.
• Create a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and families.

BrightStar Care is looking to add Registered Nurses to our team to work as hospice nurses in the Miami/North Miami areas!

We are seeking compassionate individuals to support patients and their families as a hospice nurse on our team. We prioritize our employees by ensuring they receive exemplary benefits and a flexible schedule to fit your lifestyle!

This position may require driving to a variety of locations within an approximate 25 mile radius centered around Hialeah.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine procedures (e.g., blood pressure checks, administering injections) and maintain patient records
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders
• Provide immediate medical care in emergencies
• Create a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families

Requirements

• Active Florida RN license
• AHCA Level 2 fingerprinting clearance
• Physical examination completed within the past six months
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest X-ray
• Minimum of one (1) year documented experience in a home health agency, primary care clinic, or health facility
• Previous hospice experience preferred (we will train)
• Previous experience with hospice nursing is preferred
• Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
• Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays
• Reliable transportation
• Physical ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed, based on client mobility
