Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care to an assigned group of patients. The nurse will indirectly supervise nursing staff and coordinate care across the team in a fast-paced hospital setting in Michigan.

The role requires an RN license, BCLS, ACLS for certain units, and at least one year of specialty experience. A valid Michigan driver's license with insurance and a clean MVR are also required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure is required.
• BCLS is required.
• ACLS is required for certain units.
• Graduate of an approved school of Nursing.
• One year experience in department clinical specialty.
• Current Michigan driver's license and proof of valid automobile insurance with a clear MVR.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care procedures/techniques competently, including administration of medication; organizes patient care effectively.
• Performs assessment data collection in an ongoing and systematic manner considering age, physiologic, psychological and cognitive status; completes and reviews data collected by caregivers.
• Develops a plan of care that prescribes nursing actions to achieve patient goals; identifies learning needs and implements appropriate process from admission to discharge.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the quality of patient care provided to an assigned group of patients.Indirectly supervises all nursing personnel assigned to the group of patients for whom he/she is coordinating.

Primary Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care procedures/techniques competently, including the administration of medication.Organizes patient care effectively.
