Job summary

Prestige Staffing seeks a dedicated hospice RN to provide compassionate in-home care across South Austin, including nearby communities. You will conduct assessments, develop care plans, educate families, and coordinate with the hospice team in a patient-centered approach.

The role requires an active Texas RN license with at least 2 years in hospice, reliable transportation, and excellent communication. A flexible schedule and onto-the-ground focus support teamwork and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license or multi-state license (NLC).
• Minimum 2+ years of hospice nursing experience.
• Reliable transportation within South Austin area.
• Compassionate with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop home-based care plans.
• Educate patients and families on care and medications.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary hospice team.
• Document care accurately in patient records.
• Manage a weekly visit schedule with on-call support.

Job description

Pay: $90,000

Location: South Austin (preferably Buda, Kyle, Dripping Springs) — this role requires the nurse to be in the field with occasional meetings in north Austin.

Summary

Provide compassionate end-of-life care in patients' homes within South Austin. Manageable caseload, conducting assessments, developing care plans, and supporting families. Flexible remote work with a supportive team.
