Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in New Jersey. The role focuses on direct patient care within an interdisciplinary team and includes coordinating care, delegation, and ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Qualified candidates will have an associate degree or diploma in Nursing, an NJ RN license, and BLS/CPR certification within 60 days. Willingness to pursue a BSN within 3 years is expected. Home visits may be required; reliable transportation is needed.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire.
• Must have six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience OR must be an active participant with Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
• 3 years of med/surg or Telemetry nursing experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Direct and supervise the care provided by other caregivers through delegation and evaluation.
• Coordinate patient care and unit activities among nursing peers, physicians, and support services.
