Job summary

NMC Health in Newton, KS seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Home Health Services on a part-time basis. The role focuses on high-quality nursing care in patients' homes, with a parent shift designed to finish early for family time. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered to join our compassionate team.

You will conduct assessments, develop care plans, educate patients, monitor progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care beyond hospital walls.

Qualifications

• Computer knowledge is required for patient record keeping.
• Ability to work independently with patient-focused initiative.
• Demonstrates accountability for safe patient care.
• Minimum 1 year home health experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year medical/surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Home Health Services team in a part-time capacity. In this role, youll provide high-quality nursing care in a home setting, helping patients recover, manage chronic conditions, and maintain independence all with the compassion and professionalism that define NMC Health.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of patient and family needs

Developing and implementing individualized care plans

Providing direct nursing care and health education in the home environment

Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care plans as needed

Collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team to coordinate services

Delegating tasks and supporting other team members in patient care

Your strong clinical skills, empathy, and ability to work independently will allow you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and families. As part of a collaborative care team, you’ll play a vital role in extending NMC Health’s compassionate care beyond hospital walls.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and experience:

• Computer knowledge required
• Works independently and takes initiative on behalf of the patient
• Demonstrates accountability and responsibility for safe patient care
• Minimum 1 year of home health experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of medical/surgical experience preferred

Licensure, registration or certification:

• Associate degree (ADN) or bachelor’s degree (BSN) from ACEN or CCNE accredited school of nursing
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Kansas
• Certification in CPR/Basic Life Support
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required
