Job summary

MUSC Health at Home by BAYADA is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse to provide home health visits in Horry and Georgetown counties. This role requires an active SC RN license and includes benefits and career development opportunities. Previous home health experience is preferred.

You will follow care plans, perform medications and wound care, and document observations using a state‑of‑the‑art EMR system. Travel to designated cases is required, with a focus on compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow designated home care plans and visit clients in assigned geographic territories.

• Monitor client conditions and report changes to supervisor.
• Document observations and actions accurately in EMR.
• Coordinate case management and follow doctors’ orders
• Perform client assessments as needed

Immediate opening for a Per Diem Registered Nurse, Home Health to provide home health visits for our MUSC Health at Home by BAYADA Office in Horry County and Georgetown County.

Previous home health experience preferred.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities

• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patient’s needs.
• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, wound care, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor clients’ conditions and report changes to Clinical or Client Services Manager.
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
• Perform client assessments as necessary.
• Case management and coordination.
• Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided, utilizing a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet.

Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN)

• A current license as a Registered Nurse in SC.
• A minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Prior home care experience strongly preferred, but not required.
• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
• Ability to travel to cases as assigned.
