BrightStar Care of Concord, Lexington & Woburn is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) for multiple positions. Flexible hours, autonomy, and work-life balance are emphasized as we support a mission-driven home health team.

Positions include part-time, per-diem, full-time leadership roles with flexible scheduling. Start date is immediate; join our dedicated team delivering exceptional in-home patient care and advancing your nursing career.

Formación

• Active RN license in the operation state (Massachusetts).
• Current CPR certification required.
• 2–3 years of home health, hospice, or skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Proficient in IV infusions, wound care and NPWT management.
• Experience with care plan development and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to audit, report incidents and handle risk management.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills; on-call readiness.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle preferred.

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Conduct in-home assessments and ensure that patient care meets regulatory and company standards.
• Oversee compliance with state and federal home health regulations, including documentation and reporting requirements.
• Supervise and manage the home care nursing team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.
• Provide guidance and support to nurses and caregivers to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualification and Requirements

Must Haves:

• Required: Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – Must hold a valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of operation.
• Required: CPR Certification
• Preferred: Reliable Car, Driver's License and Auto Insurance
• Clinical Experience – At least 2-3 years of experience in home health, hospice, or skilled nursing.
• IV Infusion Therapy Expertise – Proficient in administering and overseeing IV infusions, including medications, hydration, and TPN (total parenteral nutrition)
• Wound Care - Provide wound care including dressing changes, infection prevention, and Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT/Wound VAC management).
• Care Plan Development – Skilled in creating and overseeing patient care plans, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Quality Assurance & Risk Management – Experience in auditing, incident reporting, and maintaining compliance with policies.
• Problem-Solving & Decision-Making – Ability to handle staffing issues, patient concerns, and operational challenges quickly and efficiently.
• Flexibility & Availability – Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and responding to emergencies

Nice to Have:

• Home Health or Private Duty Nursing Experience – Familiarity with BrightStar Care’s business model is a plus

As the Home Care Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a crucial role in managing the clinical operations of our home care services. The right candidate will be part of our Rockstar Care Team and will be provided opportunity and full support to grow in their career. This Registered Nurse (RN) will own the overall responsibility for quality, adequacy and reliability of our home care services program – Plan of Care management, staff supervision and clinical compliance
