BrightStar Care Concord, Lexington & Woburn is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to provide in-home care across Concord, Woburn, and surrounding areas. The role offers a flexible schedule, competitive salary, and opportunities for advancement within a respected home health provider.

The position emphasizes clinical leadership, patient-centered planning, and adherence to quality standards. Candidates must have active RN licenses, CPR, and 2–3 years in home health, with IV therapy and wound care

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of operation
• CPR certification
• 2–3 years of experience in home health, hospice, or skilled nursing
• IV therapy and TPN experience
• NPWT/Wound VAC management experience
• Sales mindset for attracting and retaining referrals
• Leadership and staff supervision experience
• Care plan development and QA/risk management experience
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• On-call availability and emergency responsiveness

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement patient care plans with physicians and healthcare teams
• Conduct in-home assessments and ensure regulatory and company standards are met
• Oversee compliance with state and federal home health regulations including documentation
• Supervise and manage the home care nursing team, including hiring and training
• Provide guidance and support to nurses and caregivers to ensure high-quality care
• Manage scheduling and staffing coverage for home care cases

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Conduct in-home assessments and ensure that patient care meets regulatory and company standards.
• Oversee compliance with state and federal home health regulations, including documentation and reporting requirements.
• Supervise and manage the home care nursing team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.
• Provide guidance and support to nurses and caregivers to ensure the highest level of patient care.
• Manage scheduling and ensure adequate staff coverage for all home care cases.

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualification and Requirements:

Must Haves:

• Required: Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – Must hold a valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of operation.
• Required: CPR Certification
• Preferred: Reliable Car, Driver's License and Auto Insurance
• Clinical Experience – At least 2-3 years of experience in home health, hospice, or skilled nursing.
• IV Infusion Therapy Expertise – Proficient in administering and overseeing IV infusions, including medications, hydration, and TPN (total parenteral nutrition)
• Wound Care - Provide wound care including dressing changes, infection prevention, and Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT/Wound VAC management).
• Sales & Business Development Mindset – Ability to attract and retain clients and collaborate with referral partners
• Leadership & Management – Strong ability to supervise, train, and mentor nurses, aides, and caregivers.
• Care Plan Development – Skilled in creating and overseeing patient care plans, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Quality Assurance & Risk Management – Experience in auditing, incident reporting, and maintaining compliance with policies.
• Problem-Solving & Decision-Making – Ability to handle staffing issues, patient concerns, and operational challenges quickly and efficiently.
• Flexibility & Availability – Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and responding to emergencies

Nice to Have:

• Home Health or Private Duty Nursing Experience – Familiarity with BrightStar Care’s business model is a plus
