Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a registered nurse in Sun City, AZ to provide direct patient care in home health, assess needs, and coordinate the care team. You will review histories, document plans, and ensure care aligns with physician orders and regulatory requirements.

The role requires current AZ RN licensure and BLS, with fingerprint clearance; a Bachelor's degree is preferred and professional certification is a plus. Valid driver's license and auto insurance are needed for home visits.

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure.
• BLS certification required.
• Additional certification or continuing education may be required.
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required at time of hire and throughout employment.
• Experience in the clinical area is desired.

• Provide direct patient care and coordinate, delegate and supervise health care team activities.
• Provide care according to physician orders, nursing plans, policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching.
• Document assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and physician orders in patient records.
• Participate in research, shared leadership, education, orientation, precepting and mentoring.
• Contribute to nursing quality improvement and patient outcomes.
• Interact with staff, physicians, patients, families, community providers, agencies and clergy.
• Synthesize and prioritize data to support patients and families during changes in health status.

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary/interim RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice
• BLS certification required
• Additional certification or continuing education may be required based on area of practice
• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
• Ability to operate a personal vehicle in a Home Health setting
• Valid driver's license
• Active and maintained auto insurance coverage
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required at time of hire and throughout employment for Banner Home Care AZ employees
• Experience in the clinical area is desired
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
• Additional related education and/or experience preferred
