BrightStar Care of Concord, Lexington, and Woburn is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to advance their careers in home health across Woburn, Concord, and surrounding areas. The roles include Part Time, Per-Diem, Full Time, and Flexible Hours with opportunities for advancement and a range of benefits.

Responsibilities include developing care plans, conducting in-home assessments, ensuring regulatory compliance, supervising nursing staff, and coordinating schedules to cover all cases.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of operation.
• CPR Certification required.
• 2–3 years of experience in home health, hospice, or skilled nursing preferred.
• IV Infusion Therapy proficiency including meds, hydration, and TPN.
• Wound care experience including dressings, infection prevention, and NPWT/Wound VAC management.
• Sales and business development mindset to attract and retain clients and referrals.
• Strong leadership and management ability to supervise and mentor staff.
• Care plan development skills to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Experience with quality assurance, risk management, and incident reporting.
• Ability to make quick decisions, solve staffing and patient-care issues.
• Flexible with on-call responsibilities and emergencies.

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Conduct in-home assessments and ensure that patient care meets regulatory and company standards.
• Oversee compliance with state and federal home health regulations, including documentation and reporting requirements.
• Supervise and manage the home care nursing team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.
• Provide guidance and support to nurses and caregivers to ensure the highest level of patient care.
• Manage scheduling and ensure adequate staff coverage for all home care cases.

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualification and Requirements

Must Haves

• Required: Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – Must hold a valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of operation.
• Required: CPR Certification
• Preferred: Reliable Car, Driver's License and Auto Insurance
• Clinical Experience – At least 2-3 years of experience in home health, hospice, or skilled nursing.
• IV Infusion Therapy Expertise – Proficient in administering and overseeing IV infusions, including medications, hydration, and TPN (total parenteral nutrition)
• Wound Care - Provide wound care including dressing changes, infection prevention, and Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT/Wound VAC management).
• Sales & Business Development Mindset – Ability to attract and retain clients and collaborate with referral partners
• Leadership & Management – Strong ability to supervise, train, and mentor nurses, aides, and caregivers.
• Care Plan Development – Skilled in creating and overseeing patient care plans, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Quality Assurance & Risk Management – Experience in auditing, incident reporting, and maintaining compliance with policies.
• Problem-Solving & Decision-Making – Ability to handle staffing issues, patient concerns, and operational challenges quickly and efficiently.
• Flexibility & Availability – Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and responding to emergencies

Nice to Have

• Home Health or Private Duty Nursing Experience – Familiarity with BrightStar Care’s business model is a plus
