BrightStar Care of Concord, Lexington & Woburn is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to manage the clinical operations of our home health services. You will participate in patient care planning, in-home assessments, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while supporting a dedicated care team.

The role offers flexible hours (part‑time, per‑diem, full‑time) with competitive pay ($50–$60/hr) plus mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in MA
• CPR certification required
• 2–3 years home health, hospice, or skilled nursing experience preferred
• IV infusion therapy proficiency
• Wound care experience including NPWT/Wound VAC management
• Sales or business development mindset to attract/referral partners
• Leadership and staff supervision/mentoring experience
• Ability to develop and oversee patient care plans
• Experience with quality assurance and regulatory compliance
• Flexible, on-call availability for emergencies

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and healthcare providers.
• Conduct in-home assessments and ensure care meets regulatory and company standards.
• Oversee compliance with state and federal home health regulations, including documentation.
• Supervise and manage the home care nursing team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
• Provide guidance and support to nurses and caregivers to ensure high‑quality care.
• Manage scheduling and ensure adequate staff coverage for all cases.

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualification and Requirements

Must Haves

• Required: Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – Must hold a valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of operation.
• Required: CPR Certification
• Preferred: Reliable Car, Driver's License and Auto Insurance
• Clinical Experience – At least 2-3 years of experience in home health, hospice, or skilled nursing.
• IV Infusion Therapy Expertise – Proficient in administering and overseeing IV infusions, including medications, hydration, and TPN (total parenteral nutrition)
• Wound Care - Provide wound care including dressing changes, infection prevention, and Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT/Wound VAC management).
• Sales & Business Development Mindset – Ability to attract and retain clients and collaborate with referral partners
• Leadership & Management – Strong ability to supervise, train, and mentor nurses, aides, and caregivers.
• Care Plan Development – Skilled in creating and overseeing patient care plans, ensuring high‑quality outcomes.
• Quality Assurance & Risk Management – Experience in auditing, incident reporting, and maintaining compliance with policies.
• Problem‑Solving & Decision‑Making – Ability to handle staffing issues, patient concerns, and operational challenges quickly and efficiently.
• Flexibility & Availability – Comfortable with on‑call responsibilities and responding to emergencies

Nice to Have

• Home Health or Private Duty Nursing Experience – Familiarity with BrightStar Care's business model is a plus
