Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe, patient-centered care on the wellness/acute unit. You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, and document care and collaborate with the health team.

Responsibilities include patient education, supporting new staff, attending daily huddles, and maintaining regulatory compliance. Requires state RN license, an Associate's Degree in Nursing, and CPR/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing is required.
• ACLS, CPR, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS certifications are required or preferred.
• Licensed by the state Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process and document accordingly.
• Maintain compliance with NMHS policies and requirements as directed by the Nurse Manager and Educator.
• Educate patients and families; participate in preceptor training for new staff.
