Job summary

Premise Health in Mt. Sterling, IL is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse, Health Center Manager. Lead a multi-disciplinary team of 10+ professionals, oversee daily operations, and ensure high-quality patient care for DOT client employees and dependents.

The role offers a weekday schedule with no regular weekends or holidays, competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. RN-licensed with BLS/ACLS and 3+ years in healthcare, plus 2-3 years leadership, preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS may be required depending on contract scope.
• COHN/COHN-S, Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in the medical field.
• 2–3 years of management experience.
• Experience accessing CDC, WHO, APIC or other infection prevention standards.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily operations, staff, and workflow to ensure efficient health center performance.
• Oversees hiring, training, onboarding, and performance management of staff (RNs, LPNs, admin, tech).
• Allocates time to patient care and technical expertise as needed.
• Monitors patient flow and utilization; identifies process improvements and root causes.
• Infection control lead; collaborates on quality initiatives and regulatory compliance.
• Communicates policies, conducts meetings, and engages with client representatives.
• Completes incident reports and assists with investigations and resolutions.
• Maintains patient health records and ensures accuracy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

As a Full Time Registered Nurse, Health Center Manager, you'll provide care to client Dot Foods employees and their dependents, powered by Premise Health, in our Health Center located in Mt. Sterling, IL.
The scheduled hours are Monday - Wednesday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Thursday - Friday 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM

• Leadership-Focused Role! Spend approximately 80% of your time leading daily operations, and strengthening a valued DOT client partnership.

What You’ll Do

• Manages daily operations, staff, and workflow to ensure efficient health center performance
• Oversees hiring, training, onboarding, and performance management of staff (typically composed of RNs, LPNs, administrative, and technical staff)
• Allocates time to patient care and technical expertise as needed
• Monitors patient flow, patient utilization and penetrationIdentifies process improvement opportunities, workflow efficiencies, determines root cause analysis
• Serves as infection control lead, collaborates on quality initiatives and maintains compliance with regulations
• Communicates corporate policies, conducts meetings, and engages with client representatives
• Completes incident reports and assists with investigations and complaint resolutions
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
• Current license as RN in state of practice
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in the medical field
• 2 – 3 years of management experience
• Experience accessing CDC, WHO, APIC or other industry standards for Infection Prevention practices

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
