Qualifications
- Requires RN licensure in NM or compact state.
- BLS certification required at time of hire.
- ICU or Emergency Room experience preferred.
- ACLS and PALS required for Recovery/ER areas.
- Demonstrates ongoing professional development and education.
- Maintains patient safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting patient needs and responses.
- Coordinates patient care through collaboration with patient/family and healthcare team.
- Performs nursing assessments and documents data.
- Initiates protocols and standards of care.
- Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educates patients and families about discharge needs and follow-up.
