Job summary

Bergen New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time, on-site work. The role involves direct patient care across hospital units, adherence to nursing standards, and collaboration with the health care team. Requires NJ RN licensure, BLS and IV certification.

Qualifications

• Current NJ licensure as RN required.
• BLS & IV certification required.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Speaks, reads and writes English to the extent required by the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care according to nursing standards.
• Administer IV medications and titrate infusions as prescribed.
• Document patient care and responses in the chart.
• Collaborate with the health care team and communicate changes in patient conditions.
• Orient and supervise nursing staff and support personnel.
• Transcribe physician orders accurately and report any unclear orders.
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
