Qualifications

• RN I requires ASN and basic nursing credentials.
• RN II requires ASN/ADN or BSN with 3–6 years RN experience.
• RN III requires ASN/ADN or BSN with 12+ years RN experience or BSN plus advanced degrees.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily rounds on all patients, coordinating and taking action on unmet requirements.
• Develops a care plan based on comprehensive assessment across physical, psychological, and social needs.
• Assesses conditions, sets goals, prescribes nursing actions, including discharge planning.
• Intervenes to assess and manage pain per standard procedures.
• Identifies early warning signs and responds to deteriorating conditions, contacting clinicians as needed.
• Reports observations to the care team and completes incident reports each shift.
• Establishes education and communication with patients and families; begins discharge education early.
• Delegates nursing tasks to qualified staff within scope of practice.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support department goals.
