Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an experienced RN for the 3 East Medicine Team to support inpatient medicine. The role involves clinical assessment, medication management and care of common conditions, with IV therapy and patient monitoring. You’ll work with LPNs, PCNAs, providers, and therapists in a collaborative environment.

Shifts include 7a-7p and 7p-7a rotating weekends and holidays. Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is available for qualifying experience, with comprehensive benefits and OPERS retirement

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA BLS for healthcare providers or obtained within 90 days of hire.

• Inpatient Medicine

RN will work with:

• LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, PT/OT

Number of beds on unit:

• 26 (Unit shares space with the oncology team)
• 14 Medicine Beds
• 12 Oncology Beds

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.

• Professional Certification recognized by the Magnet Association
