Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 3 East Medicine Team in Northeast Ohio. You will provide inpatient care on a 26-bed unit with oncology and medicine beds, performing clinical assessments, medication administration, IV therapy, and patient monitoring.

The RN collaborates with LPNs, PCNAs, interns, and providers in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities include care coordination, timely documentation, and maintaining quality patient outcomes across common medical conditions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.

• Inpatient Medicine

RN will work with:

• LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, PT/OT

Number of beds on unit:

• 26 (Unit shares space with the oncology team)
• 14 Medicine Beds
• 12 Oncology Beds

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
