AdventHealth in Tampa, Florida, is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the outpatient GI office Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and a commitment to comprehensive patient care in a team setting.

The candidate will assess patient needs, develop care plans with families, document care, and participate in quality improvement. Strong English communication and continuous professional development are essential.

Job Description

• Supports outpatient GI office Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM
• Assesses and diagnoses patients' and families needs to provide quality care.
• Develops and communicates realistic problem lists for each patient in collaboration with the patient and family.
• Implements medical plans of care, nursing interventions, and procedures using necessary skills and judgment.
• Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided.
• Promotes effective working relations and works as part of a team to meet departmental goals and objectives.
• Maintains current knowledge, certification, and licensure, and pursues ongoing professional growth and development.
• Provides patient education and support to address identified needs.
• Monitors and evaluates patient progress and adjusts care plans as necessary.
• Collaborateswith other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
