Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 32-bed General Surgery unit with 12-hour morning/evening shifts. The role requires GA RN licensure, an ADN or diploma, and at least 1 year of RN experience; BSN is preferred.

The RN will care for patients with diverse surgical specialties, utilize IV analgesia, and participate in teamwork to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. NGHS supports professional development and shared governance.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
• Associate degree, ADN or Diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience; demonstrated competence on hire.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a full partner on the care team and support interdisciplinary rounds.
• Apply nursing process to meet clinical, psychosocial, and family needs.
